Well It looks like I have a shop that will remain incomplete, I find it sad that the owner ( Mr Manny) would rather keep the cash then refund me what I owed. I can only hope my customers dont see the botched job that they have done. My major regret is that I wished I employed a stress free contractor rather than trying to save 100,000 bhat.  L I think paying 580,000 baht for 12 square mater shop is more than enough no?, Lets not forget the another 200,000 for AC, New DOOR, New tiles, New electrics stoles by their staff, 10,000 baht in phone calls asking when the hell are you going to finish?..the list goes on and on, Ive rekon I've developed a heart condition due to the stress.

I think not. Beware this company comes with a warning. They are incompetent, Drunk and Full of shit, and will you will lose money.

Todays Issue with my builder

It was quite an intense day today. I was threatened by the contractors staff. They turned up quite drunk and were quite offensive, and finally had to be thrown out of the building, At least the glass door that's been sitting out side my shop has been removed. I had to pay for it, Not the builder, Is that Normal? Paying your builder to replace a glass door. Then Paying to remove the old glass door from Shopping Mall.

Now lets ask this question! Is it normal for a shop fitting company to Leave a Glass door outside your shop in luxury Mall for 3 weeks?

I hired Mr Manny ( Mandeep) in April 2014, to create my shop in a 12 Square meter space., You would think that would be inexpensive and simple. However it was far from the case.

Lets start this first post with the first Rip off.  I asked for a Unit that was to be made of a hard wood. This was the supposed to be the main feature of the shop A large display case made from fine wood to show off the shop, Im famiuler with woods as my father is carpenter so I know MDF or pine wood when I see it. I was going to go with a nice maple wood.  It was suggested to me to pay 2 times more to get a Teakwood Unit made at the cost of 350,000 baht.

What I ended up with was a veneered Teakwood unit with a softwood interior. You know, knock you hand against and it sounds like what its is ... CHEAP.
